すみれ会！！吉田類の酒場放浪記の店で（8回目）Sumire-kai!! At the bar from Yoshida Rui’s ‘Bar Wandering Diary’ (8th time)

2025年11月10日（月）、小春日和、京浜東北線の蒲田駅界隈の”スズコウ”ですみれ会（元保険計理人会の有志の懇親会）がある。今回の参加メンバーも前回同様4名。この店は数カ月前吉田類の酒場放浪記（BS6）で登場したお店。この店の手前で別のススコウがあり迷う。本日お世話になったお店は、誤って立ち寄った店から50m位歩いた先にあった。正式の屋号は、いわし料理・鳥料理”スズコウ”（蒲田東口中央通り：03－3738－4458）。

On Monday, November 10, 2025, on a mild autumn day, there will be a Sumire-kai gathering (a social get-together of former actuaries) at ‘Suzu Kou’ near Kamata Station on the Keihin-Tohoku Line. This time, the participants will be the same four members as last time. This restaurant appeared a few months ago on Yoshida Rui’s ‘Sakaba Hourouki’ (BS6). There is another place called ‘Susu Kou’ just before this restaurant, which can be confusing. The restaurant we actually visited today was about 50 meters ahead of the mistakenly visited place. The official name of the restaurant is ‘Suzu Kou – Sardine and Chicken Cuisine’ (Kamata East Exit Chuo Street: 03-3738-4458).

すみれ会の会場は、ある意味では”こだわり”を持ち、吉田類さんが立ち寄った店をメインにして開催している。それ故、粋な飲み会である。今回の訪問で早くも通算8カ所目となる。アクチュアリーのメンバーや趣味などの話で盛り上がった。また、まんが(思い出食堂）で吉田類さんがスズコウに登場する場面を女将さんから教えて頂き更に盛り上がる。加えて、偶然にも店内の玄関先にお世話になったフコク生命のかつてあった”たばこ看板”があり懐かしくなると同時に、本日の話題のひつととなった。あっという間に楽しいひと時が過ぎ去る。次回は、半年後の2026年5月11日（月）での再会を約束してお開きとなる。

The venue for the Sumire-kai, in a sense, is held with a certain ‘particularity,’ primarily featuring the establishments visited by Mr. Rui Yoshida. Because of this, it is a stylish drinking gathering. With this visit, it has already become the eighth location in total. We had lively conversations about the members who are actuaries and their hobbies. Additionally, we became even more excited when the proprietress told us about the scene in a manga where Mr. Rui Yoshida appears at Suzukou. Moreover, by coincidence, there was the old ‘tobacco sign’ from Fukoku Life, which had taken care of us in the past, at the entrance of the shop, evoking nostalgic feelings and becoming one of the topics of the day. The enjoyable time passed in the blink of an eye. The gathering concluded with a promise to meet again on Monday, May 11, 2026, six months from now.

令和7年度（第107回）東京香川県人会総会！！盛大に開催 Reiwa 7th Year (107th) Tokyo Kagawa Prefecture Residents Association General Meeting!! Held grandly

2025年11月7日（日）雨、第107回東京香川県人会総会（会長松平頼武氏）が、12時より、総勢260名余の参加の下、次の会次第に基づき、東京プリンスホテル（2階「鳳凰の間」）で盛大に開催される。

On Sunday, November 7, 2025, rain, the 107th Tokyo Kagawa Prefecture Association General Meeting (President: Yoritake Matsudaira) will be held grandly from 12:00 PM at the Tokyo Prince Hotel (2nd floor, ‘Hōō Room’), with over 260 participants, based on the following agenda.

この総会には20年位前から、コンサートや同郷の仲間との旧交を温めることを軸に毎年参加させて頂いている。今回は、司会、コンサートの役者が共に、偶然にも我が母校高松一高のメンバーであったので、感動も一入であった。あっという間に楽しい2時間半が過ぎ去る。来年も元気であれば参加したいものだ。

I have been attending this general meeting every year for about 20 years, mainly to enjoy concerts and to reconnect with friends from my hometown. This time, both the host and the performers of the concert were, coincidentally, members of my alma mater, Takamatsu First High School, which made it even more moving. The fun two and a half hours passed in the blink of an eye. I hope to participate again next year if I am in good health.

我が故郷香川は、日本一面積が狭い県だが、かつては学力日本一の県であった。歌舞伎が行われる琴平があるし、瀬戸大橋界隈をはじめ風光明媚な海岸線が随所にある。また、気候も温暖で住みやすいし、災害も比較的に少ない。加えて、うどん県として全国に認知されているし、てんぴら・醤油豆・酒も旨い。それから、四国八十八ヵ所霊場のうち、香川には67番札所から88番札所まで22札所がある。このうち、総本山の善通寺がある。そういう意味で、我がふるさとは素晴らしい。今日もお忙しい中、国民民主党代表玉木雄一郎先生が、本会場に駆けつけて頂き花を添えて頂いた。感謝で一杯となった。

My hometown Kagawa is the smallest prefecture in Japan in terms of area, but it was once the top prefecture in academic achievement. It has Kotohira, where kabuki is performed, and scenic coastlines can be found everywhere, starting from the area around the Seto Ohashi Bridge. Additionally, the climate is mild and comfortable to live in, and disasters are relatively rare. Furthermore, Kagawa is nationally recognized as the ‘Udon Prefecture,’ and its tenpira, soybeans in soy sauce, and sake are also delicious. Also, among the 88 temples of the Shikoku Pilgrimage, Kagawa has 22 temples, from the 67th to the 88th. Among these is Zentsuji, the head temple. In that sense, my hometown is wonderful. Even today, despite being busy, Mr. Yuichiro Tamaki, the leader of the Democratic Party for the People, came to the main venue and added a special touch. I am filled with gratitude.

楽しい懇親会を終え、沢山のお土産を貰い自宅到着は17時頃だった。関係各位にこの場をお借りして熱く厚く御礼申し上げます。

After finishing the enjoyable social gathering and receiving many souvenirs, I arrived home around 5 PM. I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved.

第46回フコク生命社友会！！盛大に開催 The 46th Fukoku Life Alumni Association!! Held on a grand scale

2025年11月7日（金）小春日和の中、第46回フコク生命社友会が総勢362名の参加の下、11時より帝国ホテル本館「孔雀の間東西」で盛大に開催される。社友会世話役の長沼真氏の分かり易い冒頭のご挨拶を皮切りに、米山好映新会長、そして渡部毅彦新社長の活力ある就任のご挨拶で幕が開く。昨年に引き続き、従業員にも気配りしながら、お客様を最優先としたお話には感銘を受けた。引き続き2時間余のフコク生命の仲間と1年振りに旧交を温める機会を得る。あつと言う間に、秋山智史新特別顧問の素晴らしい締めのご挨拶となり閉幕となる。楽しい充実した2時間半であった。

Friday, November 7, 2025, amidst mild autumn weather, the 46th Fukoku Life Alumni Association Meeting was held in the Imperial Hotel’s main building’s Peacock Room East and West, with a total of 362 participants, from 11:00 a.m. onwards. The event kicked off with a clear opening address from Alumni Association Organizer Naganuma Makoto, followed by energetic inaugural speeches from new Chairman Yoneyama Yoshiteru and new President Watabe Takehiko. Following on from last year, I was impressed by their continued commitment to prioritizing customers while also caring for employees. For over two hours, I had the opportunity to catch up with my Fukoku Life colleagues for the first time in a year. The event drew to a close with a wonderful closing address from new Special Advisor Akiyama Satoshi. It was a fun and fulfilling two and a half hours.

今日も思う。このようは良き社友会を継続している会社は数少ないと。また、遠い昔フコク生命に入社させていただたことに対し感謝。

I think this today as well. There are very few companies that continue to maintain such a good company friendship association. I am also grateful for having had the opportunity to join Fukoku Mutual Life Insurance long ago.

2次会は、私のウォーキングで活力を頂いている長尾昇蔵氏のお世話で新橋駅界隈の居酒屋で旭川支社・函館支社・盛岡支社でかつてご活躍した営業職員さんらと懇親する機会を得、引き続き有意義な時間を過ごさせて頂き、感謝の気持ちで一杯となる。自宅到着は19時を過ぎていた。

For the after-party, I had the opportunity to socialize with sales staff who had previously worked at the Asahikawa, Hakodate, and Morioka branches at a pub near Shimbashi Station, thanks to the help of Mr. Shozo Nagao, who energizes me through my walks. I was filled with gratitude for the meaningful time I had spent there. I arrived home after 7pm.

楽しい楽しい社友会であった。今日のためにお世話頂いた関係各位にこの場をお借りして熱く厚く御礼申し上げます。

2025年度日本アクチュアリー会年次大会！！盛大に開催される

2025年11月6日（木）晴れ、2025年度日本アクチュアリー会年次大会が、本日と明日の2日間の日程である。初日の会場は経団連会館2階国際会議場で、次のようなプログラムで盛大に開催される。

〇開会式　9：30～10：15

〇特別講演１（ゲノム編集がもたらす未来社会）10：30～12：00

〇ICA2026 参加登録受付開始セレモニー　13：30～13：45

〇海外来賓講演　13：45～14：15

〇特別講演２（天気の達人、天達と考える気候変動と地球の未来）

〇特別講演３（脳とAIの未来）17：50～19：50

〇晩餐会（経団連ホール）　17：50～19：50

特別講演などを通じて、久しぶりに頭に栄養剤を注入することができた。また、晩餐会などを通じ、アクチュアリーの仲間と旧交を温めることができ充実した一日であった。加えて、私がお世話になっている東京国際アクチュアリーアカデミー校長吉田英幸様のご尽力やAIを用いて作成した”英文カッシーチラシ”が功を奏し、晩餐会会場で国際アクチュアリー会長Bozenna Hinton様や香港アクチュアリー会次期会長Mark  Saunders様と記念写真を撮る機会が得られ最高の一日となった。

ただ残念なことは、晩餐会で私のようなシニアアクチュアリーを殆ど見かけなったことである。すなわち、私より先輩の方が2から３名であったことであり、私が人生哲学の一つとしている”遊学働”の意義を強く感じた。寂しい限りである。また、アクチュアリーという職業を日本や海外により広めるためには、仕事以外の広い視野からもPRすることの必要性を強く感じた一日でもあった。

The only disappointing thing was that at the banquet, I hardly saw any senior actuaries like myself. In other words, there were only two or three people senior to me, which made me strongly feel the significance of my life philosophy of ‘learning through experience while working.’ It was quite lonely. Furthermore, it was a day that made me keenly aware of the necessity of promoting the profession of actuary, both in Japan and abroad, through a broader perspective beyond just work.
